A low-cost e-bike. I've got the top low-cost electric bikes right here. Hey everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry. Today, we're going to talk about low-cost e-bikes. In particular, these three high-quality quality low-cost electric bikes are now available. All right. When we use the word low cost, that is a word that can mean different things to different people, right? Because of cost and price, it's all relative to how you think of money and what is expensive or not expensive. Low cost for some may mean... $100 or $200 for an e-bike, for others, it may mean $2,000. So I have what I believe to be low-cost, high-quality e-bikes that we're gonna get into. Three models here from Sixthreezero, the Simple Step Through 500 watt, the Relaxed Body 500 watt, and the EVRYjourney 500 watt. Now, the Simple Step Through is 1300. The Relaxed body is about 1,700, and EVRYjourney is 1,200. Let's walk over here to the Simple step-through, and I'll go ahead and get into some of the specifics.
Now, low cost on an e-bike from my perspective is in the $1,000 to 1,500 range with good quality. You can find e-bikes for under $1,500, $600. They do exist out there. I would say the best places for those are going to be Amazon and Walmart. But if you're looking to deal more directly with a brand, get something low-cost, which is, you know, still affordable, but high quality, I like the thousand-dollar to fifteen-hundred-dollar range in the case of the Relaxed body, just a touch more than that. Now, simply step through here. The cool feature about this is the low step-through height, which makes the mounting and dismounting very simple and easy. It's unlike any other e-bike on the market. You can see how I can step my foot through here easily to get on and off it has a 500-watt rear hub motor, a 10.4 amp hour battery, so you get 50 miles of range and a top speed of 20 miles an hour with just the throttle. Because this has a throttle, you can press or up to 28 miles an hour by just pedaling in addition to that, you've got tectro mechanical disc brakes in the front and rear, so it stops easily and quickly this is also an aluminum frame e-bike so it's it's light for e-bike standards. Now it's still going to be about 55 pounds, but you could take the battery off and get it just under 50 pounds, so again, that's an aluminum frame, pretty light by e-bike standards in all honesty.
The other cool thing about this is the upright riding position, so it's comfortable, you slide onto the seat, your back is upright, your arms are relaxed, and it's a nice, comfortable riding position. So that's our first option at 1300 bucks. Now let's slide over here to the EVRYjourney, because this is the lowest cost e-bike we have here, which is $1,200. This is a great all-purpose out and about riding, enjoying e-bikes, e-bike. This is a cool frame. It's got a forward-pedaling setup, and what that allows for is the seat to be very low to the ground while you're riding, but you still get great leg extension because the pedals are moved forward. So what this allows for is riders to have their feet flat on the ground while stopped, but you can still get proper leg extension when riding because of how the seat or the pedals are moved forward. It's a cool setup. It makes the mounting and dismounting easy. Also gives riders, you know, a feeling of being safe and stable because of how easily you can get your feet down on the ground. And then it's got the step-through frame where you can pull your foot off and get on and off. So, in terms of comfort, it is one of the most comfortable e-bikes out there. Also comes in a whole slew of different colorways, as does the Simple step-through there, I forgot to mention. So you've got about four colorways on that one, and about seven or eight on EVRYjourney.
So this one also goes up to 50 miles a range, up to 20 miles an hour with just the throttle, and 28 miles an hour with the pedal assist, and has the front and rear mechanical disc brakes as well. So cool, comfortable, all-purpose e-bike for our recreational, having fun, cruising around. This is a great, great value at $1,200. All right, now finally moving into the Relaxed body, a little more expensive at $1,700, but what you're getting in the style of this, pretty low cost in the marketplace. Now you can see you've got this elongated frame. This would be classified as a recumbent. You have a forward pedaling setup, but the pedals are moved forward 14 inches. You can get the seat even lower to the ground on this and still get that proper leg extension. Also, if you are shorter or taller, this can accommodate you because you have a very low step over, and you can put the seat very, very low here. You can see the seat goes lower on this than the EVRYjourney for very simple, easy mounting and dismounting. You are also pedaling out in front of your body.
Easy on the hips, easy on the knees, very relaxed. And you can see these eight-panger handlebars, which can also tilt towards or away from the rider's body to again, to allow riders to find whatever is the most comfortable riding position for them. Up to 20 miles an hour with just the throttle, 28 with pedal assist, front and rear Tektro mechanical disc brakes, stops on a dime. If you are taller or shorter, this is cool. Or if you just want something in that recumbent style, you like that forward pedaling, but you want something more than just the EVRYjourney, this is comfortable. I've said that again, but super unique in the marketplace as well. And at $1,700, really inexpensive compared to something of this quality and spec out there. Honestly, it'd be hard-pressed to even find something with the same setup and measurements, and dimensions.
The other cool thing about it at Sixthreezero is that they offer a 30-day test ride of your e-bike policy. So that's another benefit of a low-cost e-bike, you don't get from a lot of the other ones out there.
