Today I'm going to tell you three things women should know before buying an electric bike.

Hi guys. I'm Alanna from sixthreezero and today we're going to talk about three things women should know before buying an e-bike. The first thing women should know is that e-bikes have powerful motors. This is our EVRYjourney. It has a 500-watt motor, 250 wat e-bikes are also available, but this motor is going to be really powerful. I think a lot of people don't know what to expect when they're using pedal assist or the throttle, but this can get you going pretty fast without even pedaling. So you can reach up to 20 miles per hour without peddling and even 28 with pedal assist. So, something to keep in mind, and if that sounds like too much for you, definitely a 250 wat motor would be more than enough. It would be the perfect amount for me, I think.

The second thing women need to know, I wasn't sure if my mic was on. Okay, ready? The second thing women need to know about electric bikes is that they are heavier than standard bikes. So, of course, we have the battery, we have the motor, and that's going to make the bike a little heavier. So it's something to keep in mind when you're steering. It might add a little weight, especially because we have those components in the rear. And also, if you're going to be lifting your bike, if you live upstairs, or if you are going to put your bike on a car rack, it's something to keep in mind. This is going to be heavier than a typical bike.

And lastly, the third thing that women need to know before buying an electric bike is that it can be really challenging to find a bike that matches your style or in basically any color other than black. Most electric bike brands only sell very masculine colors. You'll see a lot of matte black, and grays.
