What's the turning radius on a four-wheel e-bike? Hey, everyone, I'm Dustin. I have nearly 20 years of experience in the bike and e-bike industry, and today I'm going to show you what the turning radius is on a four-wheel e-bike or quadricycle. All right, right here I've got Anyterrain four-wheel e-bike or quadricycle. This thing's really cool, really fun. Linked in the description, and if you want to see more videos of me out riding, go to our YouTube channel, and you can see lots of them. Now, the handling on this is exceptional because of the front, tilting steering. Turn my parking brake off here. Now I'm going to go ahead and move it around so you can see all right, so if you can see from the front here, the tires can tilt and lean. So, if I leaned it this way, the tires are going to lean that way. And if I lean this way now, it keeps the wheels always on the ground. Now this is also going to help with your turning radius. Let me go ahead and turn this on. Let me get into position here. Another really, really cool feature here is we've got reverse, and I need to tighten my seat post, which fell on me here. All righty okay, there we go. Okay. So, now, you can see on a tricycle that you can get the front wheel to a 90-degree angle. On this one, we can't really get it to 90 degrees. We can get it about, oh, I don't know, that's about 45, I would say. So from there, you can use your throttle.
Now, the turning radius is a little bigger than my trike, if you've seen that. And I'm just pushing the throttle here. So not terribly big of a radius. It's about what a bicycle is, to be honest, maybe a little bit better, actually, because turning on a 45-degree angle of a bike, you know, may not be possible depending on how fast you're going. But easy, balanced, and you can see no tipping or anything because of that tilting. When you're tilting, it always keeps one wheel down on the ground. So easy to navigate, easy to steer. And if you want to see other videos of me out riding the four-wheeler, check it out on our channel. Really a lot of fun. If you don't feel comfortable on three wheels, four wheels are a great option.
