Best Bikes for College Students 2025 Cool Colors, Cargo Space & More!

All right, so right here, I've got the EVRYjourney electric bike and the Around the block e-bike. Now, the cool thing about EVRYjourney and Around the block is that they come in these different colorways that you'll never see on another electric bike. And when you look at the color palettes out there for e-bikes, you see a lot of black, silver, and gray. White is very popular. I would say black and white are the two most popular, and some silver. Now, it's sixthreezero. We've expanded the color palette. Now we still offer black, but we like to do some different stuff as well. One more thing. I just want to walk you through the Around the Block and the Everyjourney, both 500-watt rear hub e-bikes. They also have 10.4 amp-hour batteries. So you can go up to 50 miles on a single charge and up to 20 miles per hour by just using the throttle, and 22 miles an hour with pedal assist. Now it's got a throttle on both of them up here that you can press with your thumb. You can go fully electric without pedaling at all, or you can use the pedal assist and get assistance while you pedal. Matte black, periwinkle, cream, jade straw, coral, camel mauve, navy, matte black, steel cloud, teal, mint green, and Lilac Ginger. This is the lowest step for an e-bike to hit the market.

You can see on the frame that what we've done here is we've brought the tube for the step-through lower than the crank. Typically, the crank, the lowest point of the frame, is going to be even with the crank here. But in this situation, we've dipped it even lower to make this step-through height ten and a half inches. So you can easily get your foot over and onto the bike. The other beauty of this, why we've moved these pedals up, is that when you turn, you're still going to have ample clearance for that pedal to get over the ground. If you have those pedals too low, and I've seen this on some other bikes that have a low center of gravity or a low step-through. If you don't have those pedals up, you're going to hit the ground when you make a sharp turn. This also has an ergonomic riding position, so you can see I'm in a perfect upright riding position. The handlebars swoop into your body. So you're nice and relaxed, and there's no tension on your back, your upper back, your lower back, your shoulders, your elbows.

I can be super relaxed as I'm riding. When you come to a stop, it's just the beauty of stopping and how you can just get off like that. So simple, so easy. The other thing I always say is safety. For whatever reason, if you had to get off the bike and bail off the Z bike, you can just, you can actually get your leg through and pull the bike away should you need. You know, if you have a higher tube up here, it's gonna be a lot more difficult to bail on the bike should you need to. It's got a 500-watt rear hub motor, which is gonna be very powerful to get you up hills around town, up to speeds of 20 miles an hour with a throttle only and 28 miles an hour in pedal assist. And you have your battery here, your 10.4 amp-hour battery, which can take you up to 50 miles on a single charge. You have a thumb throttle here that you can use if you don't want to pedal. And you have five levels of pedal assist that you can adjust up and down right here on the display. In addition to that, you have front and rear disc brakes that can stop on a dime. Now, on this side, you have seven speeds. These gears right here are like the gears on a standard bicycle. You would twist this shifter right here to shift your gears up or down.

You have seven speeds on the Simple step-through. This is your derailleur right here, okay? A compact folding electric trike with tons of cargo space. Now it's a 750-watt front hub motor, powerful enough to power riders up to 350 pounds around town and up hills. The battery can get you up to 50 miles on a single charge, depending on the weight of the rider, the terrain you're riding, and how you use the pedal assist levels or the throttle. So this has five levels of pedal assist. So when you pedal, you can either get one level of assistance or up to five. One gives you the least, five gives you the most, or it comes with a push throttle with your thumb that you can press and go without pedaling at all. So that's cool as well. If you just wanna zoom around town, turn this into your personal mobility device, you can do that without pedaling. The other cool thing is you can just take a break from pedaling by utilizing the throttle as well. Now, if you don't wanna use the electric, it has seven speeds like on a normal. That's a unique feature of this trike. A lot of the electric trikes are single-speed. So you've got seven speeds, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. One is the easiest to pedal, and seven is the hardest. So when you're climbing hills, you can put it into one. And when you're on flat ground and want to hit top speeds, you can shift it into gear seven. Now, the gears are not correlated with the electronics.

They work hand in hand. So, if you have it in the highest level of pedal assist, you typically want to have it in the highest gear as well. But you can use the gears without using the electric motor. It comes standard with this rear basket. Put your doggy in here, your cat in here, or whatever other pet you have that can fit. Probably up to about a 15-pound dog will be good in there. Or you could opt to put them in the front basket as well. Supportive with the bracket mounted down to the fork, and then the headset mounted here as well. Don't forget about the front suspension fork up here, which is gonna absorb a lot of bumps as you go over the road.  And it goes up and down as you go up and down, you can see it moving up and down there. So that helps to create the suspension. Also, you've got this double-adjustable seat post, so it can accommodate a wide variety of heights. Now the handlebars are also adjustable up and down to accommodate different rider heights. You have a reverse function on this trike as well. So you can shift into reverse, and there you go. And then you can quickly go back to driving. So if you do need to reverse out of a tight space, pull into a parking spot, you name it. Also, park the brakes here so it won't roll away on you. You can park it on a hill.

Right here is the EVRYjourney electric Rickshaw from sixthreezero. This thing is cool. A lot of fun to ride, and you can have multiple passengers on this e-bike. There's a hitch on the back where you can even add another row of seating. This has a weight capacity of up to 500 pounds. The motor is located here in the front hub, and it's a 750-watt motor and a 21-amp-hour battery. So you can achieve speeds of up to 20 miles an hour and a range of up to 50 miles. So the cool thing is, is the rides that you might have been doing on old school, non-electric two-wheel bicycles for two, you know, the range may a little be a little more limited. In this case, with the electric assist, you can go a lot farther. You can also take on a lot more terrain, right? Like going over hills, going on off-road trails, and things like that. The other cool thing is we have four-inch-wide tires on this e-trike. That creates more stability and gives better traction when you're out there riding. Also, these can take on, like I said, those hard-pack trails. Now, on the rear seat here, you can fit up to two adults, depending on the weight and the height of those riders, or up to three children. And you have a seatbelt back here to buckle them in. So you want to put a passenger on the back here? It is quite comfortable. I am 5'10". I weigh 230 pounds, and you can see I fit comfortably, really nicely. And the seat here has a lot of cushioning. You have the footrest right here for the passengers to ride on.

The battery is charged by just plugging it into a normal at-home outlet. It can be removed to charge it, or you can leave it in, totally up to you. In the back here, you've got storage under the seat. There's a little latch and a door you can open and close to store your belongings on rides. Like I said, there's also now a hitch system where you can attach another road. You have front and rear headlights. You have hydraulic disc brakes on all three wheels for maximum stopping power. It's also really comfortable for the rider. I just want to point out, you have a nice ergonomic upright riding position. Also, if you want to, you can remove the seat and replace it with a basket. So it basically can convert into a bicycle for two or three, or it can be a bicycle for one, and you put a basket on. So if you want to bring cargo somewhere, that option is available. You also have a front suspension fork, which is nice. It's going to move up and down and absorb the bumps, whether you're on trails or you're just going over curbs and whatnot, taking a ride around town.
