Electric Bikes with Back Support for Seniors | Ride an E-Bike Without Your Back Hurting!!

Today I'm going to show you an electric trike for two seniors with a seat for both. Right here is the Sixthreezero EVRYjourney Rickshaw. This is an awesome e-trike that can accommodate two seniors and seats for both. Now this comes in two different versions. We have the mid-drive version or the front hub version. Both are 750 watts. Mid-drive is going to have a little more torque for going uphill. You have a 21 amp hour battery, which gives you a huge range of up to 50 miles of riding, and you have the option of using the motor either in pedal assist or with full throttle. So the throttle can be activated by pressing it with your thumb, and you don't have to pedal at all. Now, you can see back here we have a seat, so you can alternate riding. One person can ride, the other can sit on the back. I'll go ahead and demonstrate. I am 5'10", 230 pounds. I can easily sit back here and enjoy the ride. Now you could fit two people back here depending on their size and weight, but one person sits very comfortably, and it's relaxing as well. You also have a seat belt back here where you can buckle up for safety. You have storage under the back seat here as well.

So you can store items with you when you go for rides. You also have a hitch on the back where you can add an extra seat, an extra row of seats, or a trailer as well. So that option is available. You have front and rear hydraulic disc brakes that stop smoothly and easily. You have a footrest here that you can step onto to get onto the seat. I got Stella. I've got Arden. They're going to sit on and show us this seat with a backrest. So you're in the market for a seat. You're looking for something really comfortable. I've got the seats you need right here. This is the Sixthreezero Super Max Cush seat with a backrest. Now, We have this seat in two options, one with and one without a backrest. The base of this seat is the widest seat that I've seen on the market, which still resembles a normal bike seat. And it can fit the style of a bike and not make it look, you know, kind of crazy and take away from the aesthetics. Our standard seat on our bikes is nine and a half inches wide, which is still wider than most seats on the market. But this baby at 14 and a half inches is really the epitome of width that you're going to find out there. And in addition to that, you have the backrest here. Now, this is great. It's going to give you that lower back support, and low mid-back support, and you can adjust this up or down depending on where you want the support. Some people may prefer a little bit lower or higher. Also depends on your torso. You have a long torso and a short torso, and where you may like this, right? Arden is 5'10", 300 pounds, and you can see.

This seat comes all the way out for him and gives him full support for his entire rear. A lot of these seats. Now imagine if he were on a seat that was five inches wide, nine inches wide. He's going to have his leg, you know, leg or his butt being cut off and it's going to be digging into him. By having this come out this wide, it's fully supporting him, making it feel like a chair more so, but still giving him the ability to pedal. How do you like this seat? Very comfortable. As you said, it's as comfortable as a chair, and it has just enough support back here. And underneath comes our standard seat hardware. This can fit on any Sixthreezero bike with a seat tube that can go into the post here, which is nearly all bikes. And it's an easy installation. You would just loosen these two screws on your existing seat, slide that seat off, and then you would simply slide the seat on and then tighten down those bolts to make sure the seat is in place.

Now this is brand new for us, the 2025 model year, doing something completely different. We are putting an office chair-style seat on the seat so riders can ride in maximum comfort and support. Whoa, rolling backward there. It's a unique design. And if you want to pull it back, you just sit down, twist the handle here, and it slides back. And then lock it in. OK, now let's get into some of the seat measurements. The seat width is 18 and a half inches. The depth is 14 and a half inches, and the height of the seat backrest is 19 inches. Now, this does not fold down. So if you do want to transport it in the back of a car, you can take the backrest off. There are four bolts underneath that attach it. You can remove it to transport it as well, and you can fold the handlebars down. And the beauty about mounting and dismounting this is you can sit down, hit the brakes, and then from there you can slide your foot over. Makes for easy mounting and dismounting. Or you can also pull your leg out this way. One other thing I wanted to point out is that this e-bike weighs 80 pounds. Now, you do have the battery located right here, which is removable, and the battery weighs eight pounds. So if you take the battery off, now you've reduced it to 72 pounds.
