E-Bikes & Bikes Customised to You
We had Roger, who's 73 and rocking his Sixthreezero EZ Transit foldable e-trike. Get this – it was his very first time riding a tricycle as an adult! And he wasn't really an e-bike pro either. So, a true inaugural ride. Roger's about 5'7" and 150 pounds. We had to adjust the seat a bit, but he got the hang of it. One tip for him was to use the low step-through, which makes getting on and off way easier. He tried out the throttle, which is super easy to control by just how softly you push it. Turning can be a bit tricky at first since you have to steer, not lean, but Roger found it got easier. All in all, he said it was a smooth ride.
Then we had Racindo take the EZ Transit for a spin. Again, the key thing with a trike is you steer the handlebars, you don't lean into turns. He got it quickly. The EZ Transit has pedal assist and a throttle, just like many e-bikes. Racindo had a moment testing the brakes – a little learning curve on calculating turns, but he did great! We also talked to Fred, who's 75 and uses a walker. Even with a little trouble stepping through, he was cruising with ease! He loved how it felt for his posture and how strong the motor assist was as he pedaled. Fred also highlighted the safety features, like the locking brakes, which he found much needed compared to his other e-bike with a sidecar.
Finally, Bobby came out, and he'd only ridden an e-bike once before, just for about 200 yards! He found it an interesting experience. He definitely felt the difference in steering, not being able to lean into turns. But he found the EZ Transit felt more stable and was easier to steer than the last one he was on. He also said it was a lot more comfortable and made him feel more secure. Overall, everyone seemed to love the stability and comfort of the EZ Transit. As one rider put it, "This one here, you could kind of relax a little bit. You didn't think that it was going to get away from you." It sounds like a fun trike, especially if you have passengers or just want a really stable ride!
