How to Attach an Additional Subframe to Your EBike Rickshaw: The Best E Trike for Passengers & Cargo

Hey everyone, Dustin here, CEO of sixthreezero. Want to show you the rear subframe for the new EvryJourney Rickshaw. Now, when you want to attach your accessories or customize your rickshaw with the hitch back here, you first have to buy an additional subframe. Now, your subframe is going to come with the hitch attachment here as well, so you can see there are no accessories on here. So whatever you would want to attach to the subframe, you would buy separately, whether it's an additional seat, our long basket, or our other basket. You will see your subframe, we'll come and attach it to the hitch here. And from there, you will just lock this down, put your pin in place, and now you can tow your additional accessory. Now you can see right that I have an additional subframe set up with the extra seat on there, and that is mounted down there with the four bolts underneath. Right here, I also have this is one of the baskets you can also put on here. And it just lies right here. And from there, this is the same way you would mount all the accessories. You would come in with your bolt, like so, and put that through. Like that. And you would be, it'd be best to have, we will give you a washer for both the top and the bottom. In this case, I don't have my extra washer.

And so you will tighten that on, you'll do all four bolts. So you do have the option of either, you can buy multiple subframes and keeping your different accessories attached at all times, or you can buy one subframe and buying different accessories and you can switch all of those things by mounting and dismounting it. It's about a 10 to 15-minute job if I were to put all these bolts in and retighten them all down. So it's not time-consuming. It's really up to you, your budget, and how much you want the convenience of having each accessory ready to go on a moment's notice. So that's it, pretty simple system. You buy the subframe and choose your accessories. For the trailer basket here as well, we have a pad that can be inserted to provide cushion for items you may carry or if you'd like to put a dog back here. This basket will also come with fenders. You can see the connections, although we don't have the fenders installed right now. So, it is a simple, easy-to-use system.
