Why the 2025 EVRYjourney Deluxe Might Be the Best E-Bike Yet | Full Assembly & Feature Info

Box Contents and Initial Inspection

  • The EVRYjourney Deluxe ships in a box measuring 61.8 inches long, 8.3 inches wide, and 35 inches tall.
  • Approximate weight is 80 pounds.
  • Remove staples from the top of the box to prevent scratches.
  • Inside the box, remove all packaging materials, manuals, and the accessory box.
  • The accessory box contains: pedals, a lock nut, tools, and extra hardware.

Unpacking and Initial Assembly

  1. Cut zip ties securing the front wheel and fender. Use snips or sharp scissors; avoid box cutters to prevent damage.
  2. Remove plastic packaging from the front wheel area.
  3. To remove the front wheel:
  • Option 1 (if possible): Carefully lift the wheel out of the top.
  • Option 2: Cut the box at the front seams on both sides to roll the bike out.

4. Remove the seat and other components from the middle section of the box.

5. Cut all remaining zip ties securing the frame and components.

Handlebar Installation

  1. Locate the small cap in the accessory box and place it on top of the handlebar stem.
  2. Insert the handlebar stem, ensuring all cables are in front of the handlebars.
  3. Secure the handlebar stem in place.

Front Wheel Installation

  1. Remove the packaging from the front wheel axle. Use a 10mm wrench to loosen and remove the bolted packaging.
  2. Hold the nut on the opposite side while unscrewing.
  3. Lift the bike frame and slide the front wheel into place.
  4. Ensure the brake rotor slides into the brake calipers and the fork slides onto the axle.
  5. Put the kickstand down for stability.
  6. Place washers and nuts on both sides of the axle, loosely securing them.

Front Fender and Light Installation

  1. Feed the fender brackets around the tire and tilt the fender to secure it in place.
  2. Remove the bolt securing the light using a 5mm Allen key and a 10mm bolt.
  3. Place the light behind the fender bracket.
  4. Secure the light and fender with a washer and nut.
  5. Ensure the fender is positioned away from the tire.
  6. Tighten the light and fender bolts.
  7. Attach the fender struts using a 3mm Allen key.

Final Assembly and Adjustments

  1. Tighten the axle nuts using a 15mm wrench until snug.
  2. Remove all remaining protective packaging.
  3. Install pedals:
  • Identify the Left (L) and Right (R) pedals.
  • The left pedal has a reverse thread.
  • Tighten pedals using a 15mm wrench.

4. Tighten handlebars:

  • Align the handlebar stem with the top tube and tighten.
  • Adjust handlebar position and height.
  • Tighten the handlebar bolts securely.

5. Install seat:

  • Attach the seat to the seat post with two 14mm nuts.
  • Adjust seat angle and position.
  • Tighten the nuts evenly.
  • Use the quick release to secure the seat post at the desired height. Tighten the knob, then clamp down the lever.

Brakes and Gears

  • Brakes and gears are pre-tuned.
  • Refer to separate videos for adjusting a seven-speed derailleur or disc brakes if needed.
  • Ensure brake levers grip firmly.
  • Brake pads are located inside the disc brake calipers and may need replacement over time.

Battery and Power

  • Keys are for locking the battery; they do not power it on.
  • The battery power switch is located underneath the battery.
  • Scan QR codes on the bike for videos on battery operation and gear adjustments.
  • The charging port is on the battery.
  • The charger is in the accessory box.

Suspension Fork

  • The suspension fork has "Open" and "Locked" modes.
  • Locked: No movement, for smooth surfaces.
  • Open: Allows shock absorption for bumpy terrain.

Display and Controls

  • Instructions for the display are included.
  • Extra zip ties are provided for cable management.
  • Power button turns the display on and off.
  • "+" button turns the light on and off (press and hold).
  • "+" and "-" buttons adjust pedal assist levels.
  • Thumb throttle provides additional power.

Tire Pressure
